The Happy Camper is glamper-style featuring a private bedroom, queen bed w/ lots of pillows, big windows, ample space for bags. The camper has heat and air, but you might want to crank open the upper fan and enjoy the breeze. You’ll sleep hard here.

In the common area, there is a twin bed surrounded by big windows, perfect for star gazing or sunrises. An additional twin-size air mattress is also provided if you need another bed.

Unplug from wi-fi and reconnect to nature. After a day of outdoor adventures, relax around your own private firepit, complete with a beautiful meadow view. Roasting sticks for hotdogs or marshmallows are included.

Each reservation receives ONE wheelbarrow full of FREE firewood & 4 fire-starter pods. Add'l firewood may be purchased ($15) Firewood/kindling may not be gathered from woods/property, taken from host’s woodsheds or brought in (due to co law).

Bring these items, lighter fluid, some lighter sticks, and at least one duraflame log per night for the best campfire experience.

This is your view from the outdoor kitchen and covered porch. Early mornings bring rising mist, singing birds, solitude. Fall foliage in the colder months. Grab your coffee, find serenity when the morning sun breaks across the pines.

Southeast Missouri is filled with wineries. Bring your own, or visit a local vineyard and grab your favorite after a tasting. A complete bar set is provided: wine glasses, martini glasses, shot glasses and a blender.

This is the place to get in the zone. Read, dream, chill, chat. Great view of the hummingbirds and the big meadow.

Plenty of flat space in the outdoor kitchen. Dash up a breakfast of hashbrowns and eggs cooking outdoors. Indoor kitchen available for colder months. Full-size fridge and all pans and utensils you need to bring on the diner-like breakfast.

Lots of table space on the outdoor patio. Dine in the open-air area, or avoid the bugs and dine in the screened-in room. Either way….everything tastes better when you eat outside!

If you love retro, you’ll love this outdoor sink. In the winter this sink is closed, but there's a full sink with steaming hot water inside the camper. Cooking while camping is often ugly...not here...every utensil is provided.

Reconnect with family and friends over some classic games. Classics including dominos, checkers, chess, cards, etc. Laughs by the million with these games, and plenty of table space to spread out.

Kids love playing in the creek. 25 yds down wooded path, perfect for wading.

If you don’t like stovetop cooking, no worries, The Happy Camper also has a grill deck, complete w/a full-sized gas grill and a tank of propane is provided. After a day spent on adventures, kick back with some veggies and steaks on the grill.

Just 10 minutes from The Happy Camper is Black River and K Bridge Recreation Area. Ranked the clearest river in America for a bunch of years, Black River is the best place to float, kayak, tube, fish or put in a boat.

This area is filled with many natural springs. Blue Springs is a favorite.

Less than a half hour away, Elephant Rocks State Park is a fun place for all.
